The Sales Representative’s mission will be to achieve and/or exceed planned territory/provincial objectives by budget and volume and maximize brand distribution at licensee and retail level.
Role Responsibilities
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales fundamentals targets
• Deliver territory commercial targets and manage to financial KPIs
• Grow share across the territory by winning in priority channels and accounts
• Call on retail and licensed accounts to sell, activate, and grow Beam Suntory brands across a key territory
• Plan, execute, and continuously optimize territory routing and account coverage
• Strengthen in‑store execution (shelf, space, pricing, and visibility) and drive menu/back‑bar placements to maximize distribution
• Identify and secure high‑impact display and merchandising opportunities
• Increase retail, on‑premise, and consumer engagement through strong programs and account partnerships
• Maintain strong product knowledge for Beam Suntory and key competitors to enable consultative selling
• Stay current on beverage alcohol trends, category insights, and customer needs
• Monitor competitive activity and translate insights into actionable territory opportunities
• Deliver effective retail and on‑premise product education and training
• Maintain accurate account data; submit required reporting on time (Aforza, trackers, sales journal, and updates)
• Manage budgets with discipline to maximize ROI and program effectiveness
• Execute on‑premise activations and retail samplings in line with brand standards and local requirements
• Keep account information current and share weekly display wins on Viva Engage
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as business needs require
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree, Business/Commerce preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Be physically able to lift 16-18kgs on a regular basis
- Minimum of 2 years previously related retail sales experience – CPG preferred
- Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends
