Perform mechanical disassembly and assembly of products with complex functions requiring independent judgment
Teardown and rebuild a variety of used Tennant equipment
Learn product through Self Study and Hands on experience and Guidance from Shop Supervisor
Assist in all aspects of the reconditioning process
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, battery, air and water-cooled combustion engines, and diesel-gas-LP powered engine problems on all Tennant products.
Responsible for proper and safe use, maintenance, and reporting of Tennant Company property. This includes tool and equipment.
Responsibile for completing work in a timely manner and using appropriate judgement to ensure quality and cost targets are achieved on each completed machine
Perform in-process quality checks and communicate results
Recognize, communicate and document safety concerns
Troubleshoot and adjust to build a quality product
Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized
Identify continuous improvements opportunities and report through the tier structure
Proficient in multiple sub-assembly operations and shorter cycle time main line stations
Consistently present professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company equipment
Punctuality is a must for this position and individual should have reliable means of transportation to and from work
