Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Jira System Administrator to join our IT Services team. The candidate will be responsible for the operations, configuration, and optimization of our IT products, with a particular focus on Atlassian software products and cloud-based solutions. The primary objective is to ensure smooth usage and maximum availability for users, maintain system integrity, provide technical support, and implement best practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize IT products, especially Atlassian software products (Jira, Confluence) and cloud-based solutions,
- Ensure system integrity and maximum availability for users,
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users,
- Implement best practices for system configuration and optimization,
- Perform migrations from on-premises to SaaS environments,
- Manage and integrate APIs effectively,
- Utilize scripting languages (Groovy or JavaScript) for Atlassian software management,
- Perform system scripting (preferably in Python or Bash) for various administrative tasks,
- Manage and maintain Linux-based systems,
- Analyze monitoring and performance data to identify problems and optimization opportunities.
Required qualifications:
- Extensive experience in cloud migration (on-prem to SaaS),
- Expert knowledge in the installation, configuration, and management of Atlassian software products (Jira, Confluence),
- Strong understanding of API management and integration,
- Proficiency in scripting languages required for Atlassian management (Groovy or JavaScript),
- Good system scripting skills (preferably Python, Bash),
- Experience in managing Linux systems.
Nice to have:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze monitoring and performance data,
- Experience in stakeholder management,
- ITIL4-Foundation certification (or comparable).
This position allows for remote work for candidates based in Poland.
