Job Description
Treatment Assistants play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and healing environment for clients and their children in a 24-hour treatment facility. In this role, they provide compassionate, client-centered care while offering close supervision, using de-escalation skills, and observing and reporting behaviors to support each client’s progress. Working collaboratively with the Milieu Supervisor, counselors, and other team members, Treatment Assistants help maintain a healthy, respectful milieu where clients can focus on recovery. On-Call Treatment Assistants may also support the program by picking up shifts that focus primarily on janitorial and facility upkeep tasks to ensure the environment remains clean and welcoming.
