Partner with the best
The Cost Engineer/Estimator will drive cost accuracy and cost competitiveness. You will work with the product team to prepare cost models for a global portfolio of pursuits and enable the bid to execute transition for our projects. The position offers a fantastic pathway into more senior and wider positions within the business.
As the Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for:
Elaborating the cost estimates to ensure costs are in line with project requirements.
Providing elaboration reports and analysis to support the decision process.
Identifying and challenging efficiency improvements and cost out opportunities.
Developing methods and tools to help our engineers design to cost.
Conducting benchmarking studies and promoting cost standardization.
Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and costing processes.
Developing training for employees related to the costing process.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
Have good working experience in Engineering Projects, Project Management and Cost estimation process
Have experience in Advanced Excel and Power Bi
Show the ability to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others.
Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment
Be of an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
Have a permanent work permit in UK
