Preschool Instructional Assistant Part-Time
FOUR DAY WORK WEEK FOR SCHOLARS AND EMPLOYEES!

JOB GOAL
Responsible for providing quality childcare and instruction in a day care setting and adhering to ADHS codes and statutes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint card
- TB test, First Aid/CPR, and Food Handlers Card (some items can be obtained after hire)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides care and instruction to promote academic and social/emotion growth
- Monitors children’s behavior and safety inside and outside of the classroom
- Assists with clean-up and other related tasks following daily activates
- Prepares classroom for activities, including creating lessons and preparing materials
- Creates bulletin boards, maintains materials and supplies, contacts parents and may make copies
- May attend in-service training sessions
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable Cartwright School District and departmental policies and procedures
- Early Childhood Development
- Monitoring and assisting children with activities
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the public, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
