EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL VACANCY
CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY DIVERSE (CLD) FAMILY ENGAGEMENT COMMUNITY LIAISON 

ABOUT THE POSITION
School District 49 is actively seeking a CLD Family Engagement Community Liaison to work district-wide supporting culturally and linguistically diverse students, families, and the staff that serve them. The Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) Family Engagement Community Liaison is responsible for supporting the district with implementation of family and community engagement for culturally and linguistically diverse families. This position serves as a resource to the district to effectively communicate to parents/community members the instructional goals of schools, assist with the assessment of a school's CLD parent and family engagement efforts, create an inviting environment, and establish opportunities for parents to be leaders or advocates serving on accountability teams and other school-based committees.




Calendar: Additional Work Days - 180 days
Reports to: CLDE Coordinator
Hourly rate of pay: The pay range is $21.71 to $27.89 per hour, based on relevant prior work experience. For bilingual individuals, a bilingual pay differential may also be applied upon successful proficiency testing and training. The final starting rate will be determined after reviewing the experience listed on the job application. Please ensure all relevant work experience is included to support accurate pay placement. This position is also eligible for a recruitment bonus of $1000; one portion paid after the first month of employment and the second portion the last month of the second year of service.
