
Summer School Teachers: Grades K-5 Mathematics Interventionist(s)
Job Description
Greenwich Public Schools seeks Grades K-5 mathematics interventionist(s) for its 2026 Summer School program.
- The Elementary Summer School will be located at New Lebanon Elementary School, and will run from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. Mathematics interventionists will work 7:45-11:15 a.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time, and have four 40-minute student sessions (8:00-8:40, 8:45-9:25, 9:30-10:10, 10:20-11:00). An additional preparation day will occur on June 29, 2026.
- Grades K-5 mathematics interventionists must be certified to teach students in grades K-5. Preference will be given to teachers with experience as a mathematics interventionist.
- Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
- Positions are dependent on student enrollment.
- Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
