Summer School Teachers: Grades K-5 ESL Teacher(s)

Greenwich Public Schools seeks Grades K-5 ESL teacher(s) for its 2026 Summer School program.

• The Elementary Summer School will be located at New Lebanon Elementary School, and will run from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. Grades K-5 ESL teachers will work 8:15-11:15 a.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time. An additional preparation day will occur on June 29, 2026.
• Grades K-5 ESL teachers must be certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Grades PreK-12 (#111).
• Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
• Positions are dependent on student enrollment.
• Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
