Job Description
Description: Mahomet-Seymour High School is currently accepting applications for a full time School Psychologist to join a district team of three other collaborative and supportive school psychologists. The School Psychologist supports students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success by providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services. The psychologist works collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive learning environments and student well-being. This position will begin with the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology is preferred
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification/endorsement is required
- Knowledge of special education law and evaluation procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred
Salary: Please see the attached current 2025-2026 Salary Schedule (our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year). The initial salary placement for this position is currently at the MS + 45 lane (this is also subject to change based on the new collective bargaining agreement).
