Description:
Responsible for the delivery of direct educational and mental health services to create supportive learning and social environments for all students. Responsible for conducting formal and informal assessments for the identification, placement, and programming of students for Special Education services and providing effective services to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Job Summary:
*School Psychologists Interns are assigned School Psychologist for school locations in District 51. Interns will receive structured supervision, support and mentoring throughout their year of internship.

Qualifications:
- Must be in current Ed.S or Doctoral degree program in School Psychology
- Previous psychology experience with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Valid Colorado driver's license or valid Colorado identification required
- Must be able to obtain a Special Service Provider Intern Authorization with a School Psychology endorsement upon hire
- Quality Behavioral Solutions certification (QBS) must be obtained within 60 days of hire

School Psychologist Intern Base Pay Salary Schedule Range:
$52,409 - $109,431.40 - based on one (1) FTE at one hundred eighty eight (197) days.
Hiring Range for External Candidates:
$52,409 - $89,967.18 - based on one (1) FTE at one hundred eighty eight (197) days.
*School Psych Interns are initially placed according to experience and education. Psych Interns new to the District may be granted up to 15 years of experience, provided the experience occurred within the last 20 years in accordance with the MVEA Agreement.
