Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist 2026-2027

Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities, including preschool-aged children. This position supports the development of motor skills and functional abilities that enable students to participate more fully in educational activities.

Essential Duties:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services as outlined in student IEPs.
• Collaborate effectively with special education staff, classroom teachers, and other school personnel.
• Participate in ETR, IEP, and other meetings as scheduled by principals or Special Services.
• Assist with the safe physical handling and lifting of students, as needed.
• Travel between schools within the District to provide services.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Ohio Physical Therapist License required.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
