AP Physics C: Mechanics Teacher (.8 FTE) Tesla/STEM - Leave Replacement

Lake Washington School District is looking for a qualified AP Physics C: Mechanics Teacher to fill a .8 FTE position at Tesla/STEM High School in Redmond during the 2026-2027 school year. This is a leave replacement position from 08/31/2026 - 01/22/2027.

This position will teach two block classes of AP Physics C: Mechanics during the 1st semester of the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will need to have previously attended AP training or attend AP training prior to teaching the class.

Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Physics endorsement.

Salary:
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
