SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Title I Summer Program Instructor positions are part-time positions instructing children entering first through sixth grade in reading and mathematics skills. The 2025 Title I Summer Program will be in-person for instructors and students.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of district curriculum, techniques for integrating curriculum, district policies, and effective instructional practices.
Understanding of the teaching/learning process.
Ability to provide instruction that reflects multiple perspectives on education.
Ability to infuse technology and positive social emotional behavior techniques into curriculum.
Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office and school based staff, students, parents and community.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in applicable field of education from an accredited college or university.
CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
New Hampshire Department of Education Certification (Elementary Education K-6 (1810) or K-8 (1811) required)
SCHEDULE:
Student Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., (planning and preparation daily)
Interventionists schedule: Monday through Thursday; 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.; July 7, 2026 - July 23, 2026 (July 6th: Intervention training day (8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.)
HOURLY WAGE:
$40.00 Per Hour
