For those still in the process of attaining certification, please know that the North Plainfield School District is approved for participation in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program which may allow you to work in a full time role as you complete your final certification requirements. Qualifications Include:
Salary: $68,050 (minimum) to $77,050 (maximum) commensurate with experience
Benefits as per contract: Medical, dental, paid time off, professional development, mentoring.
Availability: February 09,2025 Anticipated End Date: May 08, 2026.

Qualifications Include:
- Certification as NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities or NJ Teacher of the Handicapped required
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the NJSLS Familiarity in working with data to help make informed instructional decisions
- Strong skill set in lesson planning, behavior management, curriculum development, assessment, and integrating various educational resources.
- Growth mindset - the district provides professional development and employs instructional coaches to support teachers in their pedagogy
- Bilingual preferred
- Proven experience working with students in an in-class resource setting
- Ability to differentiate instruction to a student's individual needs
Salary: $68,050 (minimum) to $77,050 (maximum) commensurate with experience
