Job Description
Qualifications
- New Jersey Educational Facilities Manager Certificate Preferred (CEFM certificate must be obtained within two years of acceptance of position)
- New Jersey Black Seal License
- 3-5 years of school facilities experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of architecture, school construction, engineering, plant operations, preventive maintenance, maintenance management, school safety, and school security.
- Knowledge of a trade preferred (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
- Required criminal history background check an proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Job Goal
To be responsible for the maintenance, operations, planning, and budgeting of the Norwood School Facilities. Also responsible for ensuring all students and staff have a physical environment that is healthy, safe, and efficiently operated.
