Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (up to 40+ lbs.)
Environment: Requires some district-wide travel and occasional Saturday events/activities
Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively, in oral and written form, in English and/or Spanish,
effective management, public relations, and maintain emotional control under stress

Job Description
Primary Purpose:
The Student Aide will assist the program Lead Teacher with the organization and implementation of day-to-day program activities.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:High School Diploma or GED
College Students seeking a degree in education or related field preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
1 year of experience working with school-age students
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for organizing program inventory as directed by the Lead Teacher.
- Assist participants with daily homework, enrichment activities, outdoor activities, clubs, etc.
- Communicate with parents regarding issues involving discipline.
- Monitor the safety of all program participants.
- Assist with the organization and implementation of parent/child activities.
- Attend regular staff meetings as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

None.
