Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
Our Purchasing Function is looking for an intern who will work in the Raw materials team and will support the Global Raw Materials Purchasing Team in Milan on several streams:
Process improvement: design and govern execution of process&tools innovation. Main focus: standardizing of tendering process for steel and other materials, support to price-list innovation project
Commodity market analysis: newsletter, indexes, repository, deep dives, performance analysis
Purchasing activity: support to Global Commodity Leaders in executing bids/scouting/negotiations
Commodity risk management: mapping and analysis of alternative materials to feed pipeline of dual sourcing/single source removal projects
Sustainability: support to collection of primary data from suppliers, and specific declarations for ESG compliance purposes
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Engineering or Economics
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
Good English knowledge
Analytic mindset, attention to details, precision
Networking, attitude to communication and coordination skills
