Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities for MW‑class PCS, including topology selection, control strategies, grid‑interface functions, and protection systems.
- Define system architectures combining power modules, control electronics, thermal systems, and mechanical integration.
- Supervise the design and validation of liquid‑cooling systems (cold plates, pumps, coolant loops, heat exchangers) for high‑density power converters.
- Conduct advanced simulations (electrical, thermal, EMC) and guide the team in implementing best‑in‑class design practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (UL, IEC, CE, EMC, grid‑connection standards).
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (mechanical, software, industrialization, quality) throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage supplier relationships for semiconductors (SiC/GaN), magnetics, capacitors, and thermal components.
- Lead technical reviews, FMEA/DFMEA, and reliability assessments.
- Support customer projects, commissioning, and troubleshooting of deployed systems.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team.
