Overview The Mid‑Level Resource Manager (Traffic Manager) supports the effective day‑to‑day trafficking, scheduling, and coordination of production work flowing through the studio. The role focuses on executing and maintaining accurate resourcing, timelines, and delivery information, ensuring that work progresses smoothly within agreed scopes, timelines, and processes. This is a non‑client‑facing execution role that supports the Operations Manager by maintaining operational accuracy, visibility, and discipline across active jobs, enabling the studio to deliver high‑quality work predictably and efficiently. Responsibilities Resource Scheduling & Traffic Support resource planning and traffic management across production work assigned to the studio. Review briefs for completeness (deliverables, timelines, budgets) and flag gaps or risks to the Operations Manager. Schedule resources against approved work based on availability and guidance provided. Maintain up‑to‑date visibility of workloads, priorities, and deadlines within assigned streams. Delivery Coordination & Workflow Execution Coordinate the movement of jobs through the studio in line with agreed production workflows. Update and maintain job timelines, milestones, and delivery status. Monitor progress daily and flag delays, risks, or blockages early. Support daily delivery rituals (e.g. stand-up meetings) by ensuring accurate task lists and priorities. Operational Tools & Data Accuracy Maintain delivery dashboards, traffic systems, and planning tools accurately. Support timesheet validation and tracking prior to Operations Manager approval. Process Adherence & Compliance Follow and reinforce established production processes and operational controls. Identify deviations from process and escalate for resolution. Support compliance with operational requirements such as timesheets, leave planning, and approvals. Collaboration & Operational Support Work closely with Creative, Client Service, and Delivery teams to support smooth day‑to‑day delivery. Provide timely updates on job status to internal stakeholders. Support inter‑agency resourcing requests as directed, ensuring accurate tracking. Act as a reliable operational support during peak delivery periods. Accountability & Decision‑Making Accountable for: accuracy and completeness of resource bookings, schedules, and delivery data. Decision‑making: executes within clearly defined processes and escalates decisions outside mandate. Escalation: delivery, capacity, or scope risks are escalated to the Senior Resource Manager. Qualifications Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification. Project Management or SCRUM exposure advantageous. Experience 3–5 years’ experience in a traffic, resource coordination, or delivery support role within an agency or production environment. Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and studio workflows. Exposure to digital, social, and production delivery processes. Additional information A Mid‑Level Resource Manager may be considered ready to progress when they consistently demonstrate: Independent ownership of day‑to‑day traffic and scheduling with minimal escalation Sound judgement in identifying delivery risks and proactively proposing mitigation options Strong accuracy and discipline across resourcing data, timelines, and operational tools The ability to manage increased complexity across multiple workstreams simultaneously Effective collaboration with Creative, Client Service, and Operations teams Readiness to mentor junior team members and support traffic function continuity Progression to Senior level reflects a shift from execution and support to end‑to‑end accountability for studio traffic, resource planning leadership, and ownership of delivery coordination across the wider production environment.

Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification. Project Management or SCRUM exposure advantageous. Experience 3–5 years’ experience in a traffic, resource coordination, or delivery support role within an agency or production environment. Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and studio workflows. Exposure to digital, social, and production delivery processes.
