Greenshield Health Digital Pharmacy is a fast growing, tech-driven, online pharmacy where innovation in patient-care comes first. With access to provincial e-health databases and new communication tools (PrescribeIT), Greenshield is redefining clinical pharmacy and becoming a key contributor in bringing hospital level of collaboration and care into the community setting. Using these tools, we are able to personalize doses to each individual and help combat medication overuse, while advancing improvement in chronic disease management and compliance. This may involve clinical suggestions to lower doses, switching to safer alternatives and even deprescribing. What you'll be doing Accurately fill and package prescriptions in accordance with the Standards of Practice set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist or Regulated Pharmacy Technician. Assist with maintaining and organizing medication inventory, including ordering and receiving stock. Receive, process, bill, and input prescriptions into pharmacy management software Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication via phone, email, and messaging platforms to support patients and caregivers. Answer incoming calls, triage or transfer as appropriate, and coordinate prescription delivery schedules. Support overall dispensary operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in accordance with pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
