Job Description
Lead the development of pharmacy benefit management plan design alternatives and product/process enhancements. Collaborate with external stakeholders – Pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical industry - regarding new products as well as the adoption of new policies or practices. Provide expertise to clients, providers, and suppliers related to pharmacy benefit management. Contribute to benefit utilization analyses and preparing position papers and reports. Assist in the development of internal and external communications regarding GS pharmacy benefit management strategy. Represent GS in industry peer groups, external presentations, and conferences to reinforce GS’s position as a pharmacy benefit management specialist. In a supervisory role, will be responsible for the direct supervision, guidance and development of the Drug Authorization Team to ensure achievement of departmental objectives and standards for service, efficiency and quality.
