Job Description
Position Summary
Medford High School is seeking a dynamic Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) Instructor to deliver high-quality, hands-on instruction aligned to Massachusetts Chapter 74 frameworks. The instructor will prepare students for careers and postsecondary pathways in IT, networking, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver competency-based instruction in networking, hardware/software, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Integrate academic literacy, numeracy, and employability skills into technical instruction
- Supervise and assess student learning in lab-based environments
- Maintain industry-standard equipment and safe lab practices
- Engage with Program Advisory Committee and industry partners
- Support credentialing opportunities (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco)
Qualifications
- Massachusetts DESE Vocational Technical Teacher License in Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) (9�12), OR eligibility to obtain licensure
- Relevant industry experience in IT/networking
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to meet Chapter 74 program requirements
