Interrelated Special Education Teacher
The Special Education Interrelated Teacher provides instructional support to students with disabilities in general education settings. This role involves planning and implementing differentiated instruction, specially designed instruction (SDI), and co-teaching practices to ensure students can access the general curriculum and make progress toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The teacher collaborates closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families, monitors student progress, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.
To be considered, candidate must hold a teaching certificate in Special Education General Curriculum, AND must have ALREADY passed the GACE test in Special Ed General Curriculum. Preferred candidates will also have passed the GACE in Special Ed Academic Content Concentrations in which they would be teaching.
