About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bellman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experience by providing exceptional customer service and support during their stay. As a Bellman, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive at our hotel or resort.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling to their rooms.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes at the front desk as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform night audit duties when required, ensuring accurate reporting of daily activities.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment related to guest services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and guest relations.
