Dental Assistant – General Practice

Starting at $17+/hour (based on experience)
Compensation Note:
If a candidate falls within a listed pay range, the final offered rate will be determined by the hiring manager based on the candidate’s overall experience, skill level, certifications, and level of training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists chairside during general restorative and preventive procedures
  • Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms before and after patients
  • Take and process dental X-rays (as permitted by certification)
  • Support patient flow by preparing patients for treatment and ensuring comfort
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
  • Sterilize instruments and manage clinical supply inventory
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-op instructions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA standards
  • Provide compassionate, efficient support in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Dental assisting experience preferred (but not required for all roles)
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
