Dental Assistant – General Practice
Starting at $17+/hour (based on experience)
Compensation Note:
If a candidate falls within a listed pay range, the final offered rate will be determined by the hiring manager based on the candidate’s overall experience, skill level, certifications, and level of training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists chairside during general restorative and preventive procedures
- Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms before and after patients
- Take and process dental X-rays (as permitted by certification)
- Support patient flow by preparing patients for treatment and ensuring comfort
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Sterilize instruments and manage clinical supply inventory
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-op instructions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA standards
- Provide compassionate, efficient support in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- Dental assisting experience preferred (but not required for all roles)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
