Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Dental Assistant, you will support clinical operations while helping guide and support the dental assisting team.
- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures
- Lead and support daily clinical flow and back-office operations
- Ensure treatment rooms are prepared, organized, and fully stocked
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Oversee infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA compliance standards
- Mentor and support dental assistants as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive patient experience
What We’re Looking For
- Prior dental assisting experience required
- Leadership or lead assistant experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Positive, team-oriented, and dependable attitude
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
