Objetivo del puesto: Planificar y diseñar la red internacional de transmisión ISP de Millicom, enfocada en las capas de Core IP, CGNAT, DNS y OTTs (incluyendo Peering y IP Transit), liderando proyectos e iniciativas para cumplir con los objetivos principales, estandarizaciones y crecimiento del tráfico en las operaciones.
Principales Responsabilidades / Funciones
Configurar componentes de red, incluyendo routers, switches y otros dispositivos, tanto en horario laboral como en ventanas de mantenimiento.
Realizar pruebas de desempeño de la red y optimización para asegurar confiabilidad y eficiencia.
Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para alinear la implementación de la red con los objetivos e iniciativas organizacionales.
Monitorear los sistemas de red y solucionar problemas para minimizar tiempos de inactividad e interrupciones.
Documentar configuraciones de red, cambios y procedimientos para referencia futura y cumplimiento.
Brindar soporte técnico y capacitación a equipos internos y stakeholders en temas relacionados a la red.
Mantenerse actualizado sobre tendencias y avances en tecnologías de red para recomendar mejoras.
Formación Académica
Ingeniería Electrónica / Sistemas / Computación / Telecomunicaciones
Certificaciones de red: JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA, Network Security, ITIL o equivalentes
Inglés fluido
Experiencia
Experiencia mínima de 3 años en áreas similares
Experiencia comprobada en la gestión de operaciones de redes internacionales en entornos complejos (MPLS, ecosistema ISP, etc.)
Sólidos conocimientos en protocolos de red, routing, switching y tecnologías WAN/LAN
Conocimientos Técnicos
Diseño y optimización de redes
Implementación y configuración de MPLS (Juniper, Huawei y Nokia)
Configuración de dispositivos Core IP / Border Router (Juniper)
Gestión de proyectos y estrategias de despliegue
Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de troubleshooting
Conocimiento en telecomunicaciones y gestión de redes
Experiencia en prácticas de seguridad de red y estándares de cumplimiento
Excelentes habilidades para resolver problemas y trabajar bajo presión
Buenas habilidades de comunicación para transmitir información técnica de forma efectiva
