Landscape Design Coordinator (Part-time 28 hrs/wk)
Provide general landscape design support for the BYU Physical Facilities Planning Department, under the Campus Landscape Architect. Assist the Campus Landscape Architect with maintaining BYU campus maps and inventories, as well as assist in conceptual design, construction documentation and visual renderings.
What you’ll do in this position:
- Use AutoCAD to create drawings for conceptual designs and final construction documentation
- Site analysis by research, physical site visits and documentation
- 3D Renderings of proposed designs
- Create planting plans based on University goals and best practices
- Data inventory of all site elements on campus
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- B.S. in Landscape Architecture or other related degree.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Current Driver’s License – You will be required to drive a University vehicle.
- Must be able to take initiative and be self-motivated to work on individual tasks and in a team environment.
Preferred
- B.S. in Landscape Architecture or other related degree with 3 years of experience
- 1+ Year Experience in landscape design industry
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D (Required)
- Current Driver’s License – You will be required to drive a University vehicle.
- Must be able to take initiative and be self-motivated to work on individual tasks and in a team environment.
- Physical requirements: Exert 50-lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20-lbs of force frequently to move objects.

Pay Grade: 50
Typical Starting Pay: $25.00 to $32.50 an hour
