Senior Mine Planner - Medium Term
Job Description
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a university degree (Bac+5) in Mining Engineering.
- A minimum of (8) eight years of experience in open-pit mine planning, including design, scheduling and production optimization.
- Proficiency in mine planning software, specifically Deswik CAD and Deswik Sched, is required.
- Experience in estimating ore reserves and reporting according to the JORC code for massive deposits.
Technical skills.
- Advanced capability in open pit design and optimization.
- Expertise in the development of complex production schedules (Rolling plans).
- Competence in financial modeling and operational cost analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of safety protocols (such as Glencore Fatal Hazard Protocols) and mining legislation.
- Ability to integrate complex geotechnical and geological data into mine designs.
- Perfect command of French and English (Read, spoken, written).
