Senior Dumps & Infrastructure Engineer

Qualifications and Experience

 

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hard rock open pit mining environment, ideally in copper or cobalt.
• Proven experience in pile design, haul road planning, mining infrastructure management.
• Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, operations).
• Experience in a senior technical role with mentoring or leadership responsibilities.

 

Technical skills.

 

• Advanced Master's degree in Mining Engineering applied to stockpiles, stockpiles, mining roads and infrastructure.
• Excellent knowledge of mine planning and design software, including Deswik (preferred).
• Competence in mining data management and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools.
• Ability to manage complex projects and work under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory requirements of the mining sector.
