Job Description
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hard rock open pit mining environment, ideally in copper or cobalt.
- Proven experience in pile design, haul road planning, mining infrastructure management.
- Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, operations).
- Experience in a senior technical role with mentoring or leadership responsibilities.
Technical skills.
- Advanced Master's degree in Mining Engineering applied to stockpiles, stockpiles, mining roads and infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of mine planning and design software, including Deswik (preferred).
- Competence in mining data management and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools.
- Ability to manage complex projects and work under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory requirements of the mining sector.
