Job Description

Apply a consultative sales approach, identifying and validating customer needs through research and direct engagement, and co-developing tailored solutions and implementation plans. Use Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities, ensuring alignment with validated customer needs and stakeholder priorities. Conduct CVP-based white space analysis to identify revenue gaps and growth opportunities across customers and sectors, and develop plans to capture these opportunities. Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline by developing key accounts and targeting high-growth industries. Identify and engage new customers through research, networking, and industry events, promoting the full Watson-Marlow portfolio. Act as a trusted partner to customers by providing technical expertise, resolving challenges, and offering proactive performance improvements. Manage sales leads and enquiries, delivering tailored quotations and ensuring timely follow-up. Allocate workload effectively across EMEA support functions to maximise time spent on high-value commercial activities. Conduct product demonstrations (on-site and virtual) and represent Watson-Marlow at exhibitions and events. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, sharing insights with global colleagues. Use CRM systems to manage opportunities, track progress, and deliver accurate forecasts.
