Visit our website to learn more. Role Summary The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting smooth warehouse and production operations at WMFTS, part of the Spirax Group. This position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials throughout our 30,000 sq. ft. facility. You will support the full material flow cycle including receiving, put-away, staging, Kanban replenishment, and cycle counting while strictly adhering to WMFTS quality, safety, and compliance standards. As our Material Handler, you are someone who takes pride in keeping operations running seamlessly. You enjoy working efficiently, staying active throughout the day, and ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time. You are dependable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and teamwork matter. What you’ll be doing Perform daily/weekly cycle counts based on the Devens schedule. Investigate and document discrepancies with clear comments. Support inventory audits and participate in root cause analysis when required. Move materials between Warehouse, Production, QA, Engineering, and Pump Department. Complete AX transfer transactions to ensure full traceability. Move materials safely to assigned aisles, racks, and bins. Follow FIFO/FEFO requirements for lot‑controlled products. Ensure all materials are properly labelled, organized, and stored securely. Complete AX location updates in real time to maintain inventory accuracy. Pick materials for production orders and work orders. Scan all items to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability. Stage materials in designated production lanes and communicate completion Other duties as assigned. Who you’ll be working with All levels of the organisation. This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–3 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred. Experience with AX or similar ERP systems is a strong plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Forklift certification preferred (WMFTS training available onsite). Reliable attendance and strong communication skills.
