Back to jobsBachelor degree in engineering or related field strongly preferred; Other relevant postsecondary education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required; 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for a graduate degree and 3 years for a doctorate.
Established knowledge of multiple functional engineering areas (i.e. product development, test, modeling, process, etc.).
Design and development experience with catheters, guidewires, and/or delivery systems preferred.
Demonstrates consistent understanding of the methodology for process/design selection.
Able to communicate complex technical concepts.
Shows creativity and ingenuity in applying engineering principles to find effective solutions to problems.
Able to make data driven decisions utilizing statistical tools such as DOE, tolerance stack-up analysis, or Minitab.
Strong problem-solving skills and actively work to coach others in this area.
Willing and able to informally or formally coach and mentor less experienced engineers.
Able to communicate complex topics to customers.
Demonstrated ability to establish cross-functional relationships to help drive results.
Demonstrates desire for continuous improvement and understands need for change.
Must be willing and able to travel between Fridley, MN and White Bear Lake, MN sites, as needed.
