Job Description

  • India Office & Site Leadership
    • Provide leadership and drive GT employee engagement to accelerate local culture building. 
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute Global Technology leadership, partner, and employee visits to the India office in partnership with the Global Business Services team.
    • Ensure consistent, high?quality internal and external engagement experiences that reinforce GT priorities and culture.
    • Act as the local GT leadership representative, ensuring alignment between global expectations and local execution.
    • Support the Global Office leadership team and partner with the GT India functional leads on day-to-day execution assisting with clearing roadblocks and championing successes. 
    • Understand the competitive talent landscape and provide input into how McDonald’s Global Technology can differentiate themselves in the marketplace. 
  • Global Technology Operational Excellence
    • Identify and continuously assess strengths, capabilities, gaps, risks, and growth opportunities within the India GT organization.
    • Provide data?driven recommendations to Global Technology leadership to enable scale, maturity, and sustainability.
    • Serve as the single point of contact for India GT operational matters
    • Actively participate in strategic initiatives including resource optimization and value realization.
      • Assist in developing resourcing plans across all GT towers
      • Establishing a disciplined resource management methodology (demand-supply interlock, strategic workforce planning), development of tools and analytics as needed.
      • Engage with HR and Talent Attraction in ensuring the demand is locked in line with appropriate lead time to post and hire roles.
      • Building scalable recruiting processes, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize hiring outcomes, and fostering a strong employer brand in competitive global markets 
      • This includes having a macro view on the operational and financial challenges of resourcing roles, and to understand the dynamic of certain technical roles that should be outsourced versus those that should be that have a strategic role within the company
    • Support the recruitment, knowledge transfer, onboarding and offboarding efforts.
      • Facilitating collaboration between outgoing and incoming teams to ensure continuity and minimize disruption. 
      • Documenting best practices to create a sustainable knowledge base for future use. 
      • Monitoring and validating knowledge transfer activities, remove roadblocks for execution teams to set the receiving teams up for success and are fully equipped to take over responsibilities.
    • Manage the India GT hiring stream, including:
      • Tracking progress against ramp?up plans
      • Driving escalations
      • Removing operational and cross?functional roadblocks
