Position: Education Support Professional (ESP)
 
Salary Category: According to GKEA Agreement
Grade A
Grade B
Grade C
If a grant-funded position, the employee will be released each year and may be recalled if grant funding is available in the subsequent year.
 
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required
Illinois Paraprofessional Certificate required
College degree desirable
Valid Illinois teaching certificate desirable
Works well with young students 
Desire to help all students
Team oriented 

Cerification/License Requested: Paraprofessional License
 
Function: To provide specific support to instructional progams at the building level. This includes supporting areas related to clerical, supervision, instruction, interventions and health.
 
Accountability: Building Principal and/or Director of Student Services
