The AGCO Parts Demand & Inventory Planning team is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and making decisions in the inventory planning process for the global AGCO Parts distribution network. The team works to deliver improved (parts service) fill rate levels across a portfolio of brands / products that AGCO dealers sell and promote. This role will require balancing targeted fill rates with inventory objectives and is designated for an individual who is analytically proficient and capable of making inferences from various sources of data.
The D&IP function is executing an ambitious digital transformation roadmap to enable advanced forecasting methodologies and drive end-to-end visibility in the supply chain through connecting partners & customers. We are looking for a team member to work in both Supply Chain Planning and Data Science functions within the team.
Your Impact

This role is split evenly between operational Demand & Inventory Planning and Data Science, supporting digital transformation and IT/OT functions.

Lead global forecasting and inventory planning for a defined spare parts portfolio, translating demand signals into executable plans across the supply network.

Support continuous improvement in D&IP through owning forecast model selection, outlier management, and inventory target settings.

Manage exceptional supply and demand disruptions in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Planning, and Procurement, balancing best ‑in‑ class service levels with disciplined inventory value control.

Enable the D&IP digital roadmap by dedicating up to 50% of time to strategic initiatives such as: multi‑ echelon inventory optimization, predictive maintenance, multivariate machine‑learning forecasting, or CPFR.
Your Experience and Qualifications

Degree in supply chain management, logistics, mathematics, statistics, data science, or engineering.

Skillsets related to supply chain planning, mathematics and statistics, data science or IT/OT will be considered.

Functional SQL knowledge is required. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R is beneficial.

Experience with MEO in PTC servigistics is beneficial.
