Familiarity and competence with key cardiothoracic procedures, including the use of surgical tools, techniques, and technologies such as robotic systems and minimally invasive surgery.
Ability to assess patient health using diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, CT scans, angiograms, and pulmonary function tests.
Ability to make evidence-based decisions in high-pressure, critical care environments, particularly in perioperative and postoperative settings.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Focus on providing compassionate, individualized care, educating patients and their families, and making informed decisions based on patients’ health status and needs.
High attention to detail, especially in the accurate documentation of patient data, surgical notes, and postoperative care instructions.
Commitment to the highest standards of medical ethics, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and transparency in clinical decision-making.
Ability to supervise junior medical staff, offer guidance, and take a leadership role in specific clinical settings when required.
