Job Responsibilities 1

Provides high-level, direct patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.

Serves as a clinical expert and resource for complex patient care situations.

Coordinates, plans, and evaluates the care of patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Utilizes evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines in all aspects of care.

Acts as a clinical leader and mentor to nursing staff, including CN1s, CN2s, and unlicensed assistive personnel.

Participates in or leads interdisciplinary rounds, family conferences, and care coordination meetings.

Supports nurse manager with performance improvement initiatives and staff education.
