Conducts comprehensive preoperative assessments for surgical patients, including obtaining detailed medical histories, performing physical exams, and ensuring appropriate anesthesia plans tailored to individual needs.
Administers anesthesia for a wide range of procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety throughout the perioperative period.
Oversees and manages anesthesia levels during surgeries, utilizing advanced monitoring techniques (e.g., ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography, invasive blood pressure monitoring) to ensure stable hemodynamics and patient safety.
Supervises the recovery of patients from anesthesia in the recovery room or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), ensuring effective pain management and swift recovery from anesthesia.
Provides appropriate sedation and pain relief for minor procedures, diagnostic interventions, or patients with complex pain management needs, both preoperatively and postoperatively.
Provides high-level care for critically ill patients in the ICU, including those with complex surgical recoveries, sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction, and other life-threatening conditions.
