As part of Tetra Pak’s Finance organization, the Tax function plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, managing risk, and supporting business decisions in a complex and evolving regulatory environment.
We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Tax team in Argentina. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely tax management, while supporting the business with strategic insights and contributing to global and regional initiatives focused on standardization, automation, and process improvement.
Although this is a local position, you will work within a global structure, interacting frequently with international teams and participating in cross-country projects.
This position is based in San Fernando, Argentina, with a hybrid working model requiring presence in the office three days per week.

What you will do
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will:
- Manage the determination and filing of direct and indirect taxes at national, provincial, and municipal levels;
- Ensure compliance with current tax regulations, even in complex and changing regulatory environments;
- Monitor changes in tax legislation, assess impacts, and implement required updates in local processes;
- Act as a business partner, providing tax advisory support to different areas and supporting decision-making;
- Maintain and manage tax master data in SAP for both direct and indirect taxes;
- Perform tax account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy;
- Oversee and maintain updated tax data for vendors and customers;
- Coordinate and collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors;
- Support tax audits, inspections, and information requests from fiscal authorities;
- Identify opportunities to optimize transactions with customers and suppliers from a tax perspective;
- Design, implement, and improve tax policies and procedures at both local and global levels;
- Contribute to global and regional projects focused on:
- Standardization of tax processes;
- Improvement of controls, operational efficiency, and data quality;
- Implementation of new tools, systems, and methodologies;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and effective use of tax systems.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related fields;
- At least 3 years of proven experience in tax compliance and tax processes;
- Experience handling tax calculations, filings, and regulatory requirements;
- Intermediate level of English (mainly written communication);
- Experience working with SAP;
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, functions, macros) – mandatory;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Forms, etc.);
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in dynamic environments
