Job Description

Designs, develops and implements sales programs to meet the organization's business objectives. Plans, directs and coordinates the efforts of sales staff toward the accomplishment of objectives. Responsibilities are within the sales function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

Nordson EPS, a global leader in Fluid Dispensing, Conformal Coating, Plasma & Selective Soldering, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand as a Sales Manager. Summary of the role

Represent Nordson in a positive way, maintaining high levels of integrity. Focus on growing sales pipeline, develop business revenue, coordinate with cross functional teams and handle the day-to-day tactical part of the business, primarily in Thailand, for all EPS products.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plan for Thailand.
  • Implement the sales program by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, and product mix by establishing and promoting product value rather than price.
  • Need strong commercial acumen to monitor, support and track corporate pricing strategies.
  • Work closely and directly with Nordson Top customers and ensure that we maximize our good will and increase revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Keep track of market conditions, customer growth plans and competitive scenario and ensure alignment of these with our development plans.
  • Maintain documentation and proper records of work operations and decisions taken.
  • Present weekly sales reports to company management with valid and relevant information to support key business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with set health/safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on EPS products by participating in training programs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams in other regions for cross territory opportunities, evaluations, and application support.
  • Collaborate with Application, Service, Aftermarket, Engineering and Production team and ensure customer is supported appropriately.
  • Set up robust distributor management systems and ensure that distributors are aligned with Nordson business goals and performance indicators, including service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Distributors tend to have multiple competitive products. Develop strong relationships with distributors through regular visits and contact and ensure we become their preferred partner.
  • Support marketing activities with distributors by participating in key trade exhibitions/shows and other events to promote Nordson products.
  • Maintain up to date information through the CRM system and provide feedback to management, including reports on equipment, parts, and service failures.
  • Ensure appropriate coordination with customer support team and finance team on all commercial issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic / electrical / mechanical engineering.
  • 8 to 10 years related to sales and project handling experience in similar industry or in capital equipment sales is required

Knowledge, abilities and skills:

  • Fluency in English and Thai language necessary. Fluency in Japanese language preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds and capabilities.
  • Proactive, responsible, confident, and customer-oriented
  • Results driven and a self-starter
  • Good communication skills – written and oral.

Travel

  • Domestic 80%, International 20%
