Senior Consultant Trade Management and Support

THE ROLE

Trade Management and Support function plays an important role in ensuring data compliance and accuracy within the ETRM system, while collaborating closely with market traders, supply operations, finance, and other stakeholders to support smooth and efficient trading processes. This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the CKETS Trading Team in Geneva from the Circle K Business Centre in Riga.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to support spot trading operations within our Supply & Trading function. This role focuses on trade validation, capture, reconciliation, and operational support across a designated product portfolio (Diesel, Bio, or Gasoline) covering the European market, including global flows (e.g., US and Asia).

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Take ownership of SPOT trading activities flow in ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management) system for a designated fuel product portfolio (Diesel, Bio, or Gasoline), managing a specific portfolio book and collaborating closely with traders, risk, middle-office, tech, and accounting teams;

• Validate and set up trades entered in the ETRM system by traders, ensuring accurate pricing and alignment with commercial terms;

• Capture trades promptly after agreements are made by traders, understand the commercial rationale transaction and identify and resolve any discrepancies compared to deal recaps or deal sheets;

• Ensure compliance with Supply & Trading internal controls and documentation standards;

• Monitor the full lifecycle for SPOT trades through operations, settlement, and payment processes, serving as coordinator between internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution;

• Provide operational support and contribute to continuous process improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is considered an advantage;

• Strong analytical skills, particularly with pricing structures;

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced trading environment;

• Proficiency in Excel and comfort with working with large datasets and systems;

• Strong communication and collaboration skills;

• Fluency in English to communicate with colleagues in Europe;

• Experience with ETRM, ERP, Master Data, or accounting systems is considered an advantage.
