Senior Hardware Engineer

Clarification and definition of the requirements for the product-related hardware with the customer in the form of project descriptions; analysis and planning of the hardware development effort. Participation in the preparation of a requirement specification based on the existing requirement specification. Preparation of module specifications taking into account specifications, quality, logistics and production requirements Development of hardware modules taking into account existing development standards, guidelines and legal requirements; ensuring ongoing coordination with internal and external bodies to ensure that modules can be integrated into an overall system Carrying out or initiating detailed work for individual components and modules Analyze, adapt and optimize existing hardware modules according to technical, economic, legal or customer specifications in consultation with the supervisor; develop, evaluate and coordinate alternative solutions with the responsible authorities. Determination of required materials and components under consideration of economic, qualitative and technological aspects; preparation of parts lists Development, elaboration and simulation of electronic circuits in consultation with competent authorities Identification of malfunctions and conspicuities and taking remedial action Preparation of necessary test specifications and performance of tests or initiation of tests at competent bodies; participation in the preparation of test specifications for new products Participate in defined reviews of hardware development throughout the entire hardware development process and release according to existing guidelines Processing of customer complaints regarding serial devices and manufacturing difficulties in consultation with the responsible authorities, such as quality assurance, assembly, laboratory, etc.
