Ensure personal health and safety of oneself and that of team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of Winder and related operations
Contribute to a culture of zero harm by participating in all safety campaigns, adhering to all requirements as prescribed in relation to legislation, health, safety, environmental, security policies, and procedures, and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion
Perform prescribed winder and related installation inspections and testing in accordance with applicable Mine Health and Safety Act regulations, the Minerals Act and applicable Company standards
Participate in daily shift handover and team task planning activities ensuring that all planned and ad hoc shaft, infrastructure and related winder and installation inspections, maintenance and repairs are clearly understood to ensure seamless safe work execution.
Execute daily routine WED tasks according to legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures within prescribed guidelines
Ensure the continued safe shaft transportation of people, materials, and ore to support the operation in achieving its objectives and goals.
Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures to maintain high standards of winder installation operations
Ensure that all required shift activity reports, defect log systems and incident reporting processes are duly, accurately and timeously completed as prescribed in regulation and/or operational standards
