Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, case strategy to all levels of employees, including business, financial and senior executive leadership.
Effectively interact with and coordinate case activity with outside counsel retained to represent Owens Corning.
Coordinate the compilation of electronic and hard copy information, materials, documents, reports, and evidence, as necessary to respond to discovery.
Provide direction to other members of the litigation support administrative staff.
Conduct factual investigation, including interviewing witnesses and or coordinate investigations and fact-finding on general liability, warranty, and product liability litigation matters.
Provide legal support to Customer Response Center, Warranty Teams, Preferred/ Platinum Contractors Team, and assist in resolving product warranty claims.
Provide legal support to all business units in the U.S. on a full range of matters and in Europe for significant liability and insurance matters.
Prepare settlement calculations based on factual and projected information produced in conjunction with pending litigation.
Prepare and negotiate settlement documents, including agreements and releases.
Prepare status reports and correspondence for updates to senior management, financial controls and other stakeholders.
Respond to general and product related subpoenas.
Assist in preparing company witnesses for deposition.
Serve as the company representative at mediation and other court proceedings as needed.
