Maintenance Staff Job Description

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring that the restaurant’s facilities and equipment are in good working order. The ideal candidate is handy, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facility Maintenance:

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and minor troubleshooting.
    • Ensure that all restaurant areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and restrooms, are clean and safe.
  2. Equipment Maintenance:

    • Perform regular inspections of kitchen and restaurant equipment to ensure proper functioning.
    • Address any equipment malfunctions and report issues to management.
  3. Safety and Compliance:

    • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including handling chemicals and using tools safely.
    • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
