Job Duties
- Under broad direction, acts as a regional subject matter expert and provides technical expertise including; Ownership of Design of Service (DOS), Initiating DOS plan, requirements and timelines.
- Engaging with customer technical team and provide technical guidance where needed, Ensuring suitable engineering solutions from TSS portfolio are being deployed, Leading the DOS preparations for the identified Critical Wells, Advising country teams on technical requirements and assessing country readiness while coaching and mentoring country teams, Auditing the DOS delivery process for Compliance with customer/scope requirements and adherence to service quality and global processes, Identify engineering software requirements, Provide guidance on possible improvement areas in the engineering design, Consulting with Global Technical Advisors for final assess quality of DOS.
- Independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.
- Liaises with customers on technical issues, including performance review and process improvements to better support the needs of the customer.
- Works with the local Business Development personnel to insure customers are kept current on technology.
- Initiates, reviews, and closes Correction, Prevention, Improvement (CPIs) pertaining to Technology.
- Contributes inventions, patents, and new designs or techniques which are regarded as major advances, or which significantly reduce professional services hours on projects.
- Job role contributes directly to value creation.
Qualifications
- Skills are acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Physics, Geology or Math and a minimum of 5 years of experience in field operations, which includes experience in well testing.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving engineering problems in the most efficient and economical manner.
- Requires the use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of the field and related disciplines.
