Our most vital resource is our people. That’s why Human Resources is one of our most vital teams: From recruiting to career development for BCGers, from training and mobility support to staffing (assigning our consultants to client casework), the Human Resources Team plays a decisive role in making BCG not just a company, but a Group in which every employee can become their best.
We are looking for working students both in our Talent Management Unit and in the Staffing Expertise Unit. As a dynamic and motivated Working Student, you’ll be part of our Staffing Expertise and Talent Management HR setup for the Consulting Team.
HR Controlling/Staffing Expertise Unit
As a dynamic and motivated working student, you’ll be part of our HR team, which is responsible for staffing our consulting employees. As such, you will support us with a wide range of tasks. One focus you’ll have is coordinating our new-consultant data. In this context, you will be in close contact with our Recruiting Team to always have an up-to-date overview of resumes as well as all relevant starting dates and to consolidate them for our purpose: staffing consultants on their first project at BCG. This includes maintaining Excel lists and our database together with the responsible Staffing Expertise Specialist. In addition, you’ll be able to take on initial responsibility for allocating and communicating available consultants for staffing requests.
Furthermore, you’ll support our Staffing Expertise Controller in administering our FlexLeave program, as well as with individual reports and overviews on various topics. In addition, you’ll make an important contribution to the quality of our staffing process by tracking staffing decisions and identifying deviations from plan early on. Other tasks include supporting process advancement by using AI tools as well as evaluating new technologies in the HR environment.
Talent Management Unit
As a Working Student, you will support us in the areas of career development, staffing, and other HR topics. In the area of career development, you’ll help our team prepare Career Development (CD) meetings by requesting performance evaluations for our Senior Consulting Staff. You will also support with compiling relevant documents for these meetings. In terms of staffing, you’ll work with data in our HR/staffing database, including maintaining and checking information on planned and actual project assignments of individual consultant groups. In doing so, you’ll work closely with our (Junior) Talent Specialists, support them in day-to-day business, and help with ad hoc requests
