Global Data Science Senior Manager – Chapter Lead

Enterprise Data Science using Python, with hands-on experience in GenAI, LLMs, and Agents. This is a heavily hands-on role — a significant portion is individual contributor work across AI and Agent initiatives — combined with the leadership people management and senior stakeholder engagement needed to drive enterprise outcomes. Strong technical depth is essential. You will contribute hands-on to enterprise-scale Data Science, AI, and Agent initiatives — solving complex business problems ,while also mentoring team members and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive high-impact outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy data science models using Python
• Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to solve business problems
• Work on use cases across predictive modeling, analytics, and NLP
• Translate business needs into scalable AI solution designs and delivery plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building
• Engage with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions

• 7–12 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, and Advanced Analytics in enterprise application.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python for data science and problem solving
• Solid foundation in machine learning and statistical techniques (e.g., regression, classification, NLP)
• Practical experience building and deploying AI/ML or GenAI and Agentic solutions at scale.
• Exposure to GenAI / LLM use cases (e.g., RAG, NLP applications)
• Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Experience working with real-world datasets and deploying models in practice
• Exposure to cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) – good to have
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience mentoring or leading small teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
• Ability to clearly articulate past work and demonstrate strong understanding of core data science concepts

You’ll be part of Knowledge Data & Analytics team within the Knowledge portfolio, collaborating with global stakeholders across functions and regions. The role will be based in Gurugram as part of the larger Data & Analytics group, which supports multiple functions across BCG by driving data strategy, analytics innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities.

In this role, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver data-driven, visualization, and innovation solutions that enhance decision-making, optimize processes, and create measurable business impact across the firm.

• Driving innovation and continuous improvement — you explore and integrate emerging AI technologies and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities and efficiency.
• Simplifying complexity — you can translate advanced technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior business stakeholders.
• Collaborating across disciplines — you partner effectively with data engineers, analysts, product managers, and business leaders to align technical execution with strategic objectives.
